Residential Project

Custom Residence, Salt Lake City, Utah

5,534 square feet

Building envelope is structural split-face CMU masonry walls and wood joist roof structure with insulated standing seam metal roof system.

Located in Emigration canyon east of Salt Lake City, the residence takes advantage of the topographical features of the sloping site.   Entering into the home there is timber trelles that draws you to the custom circular pattern entry doors.  Once in the foyer a curving partition wall then draws you into  the kitchen and dining room  of this open concept floor plan.  Steping down from the dining area the great room has the entire east wall with a sloping curtain wall of windows that commands expansive views to the east  that allows the light  to animates the space throughout the day.  The curved roof structures that are a design element over the entrance, great room and stair capture the the view and light of the mountain landscape that surrounds the home.

The great room and master bedroom open on to the exterior swimming pool deck.
